THE STRUGGLE TO HOLD ONTO POWER
In 2021, there was a group of leaders who were very afraid of losing power. They were known as zanu pf. They did not have the support of the people because they did not take care of them. The people were unhappy because they were not getting the services they needed.
Zanu pf knew they were not doing well, especially when they saw a group of good leaders rising. These good leaders were ready to help the people and fix the problems. This made zanu pf even more scared.
The country was facing many problems under zanu pf’s rule. Prices were going up, the country was not friends with other countries anymore, and many smart and talented people were leaving. Zanu pf was making silly decisions, like giving ten chickens to each family in the countryside but not giving them food for the chickens.
Zanu pf was scared because they knew if they lost power, they would not be able to enjoy the benefits they were getting. They had taken a lot from the country’s resources for themselves, but they never gave anything back. They were ready to do very bad things to keep their power.
They made plans to stay in power, but their plans were not smart. They knew that if they lost power, they would have to give back everything they took. Also, they would get in trouble for the bad things they had done. They were trying hard to keep control, but they were not sure if they could.
