A CRUMBLING HEALTH SYSTEM: A CRY FOR HELP

In 2021, there’s a big problem in our country. Our public health system, which helps keep us healthy, is failing. This means when people get sick, there isn’t enough help for them. This is like having a school with no teachers. It’s a big worry!

Our health workers are leaving for better jobs in other countries like Europe and the USA. They are leaving because they want better lives, which they can’t get here. It’s like when a smart student changes school because they are not learning enough.

Now, there are many things missing in our hospitals. Important supplies like gloves, medicines, and machines to check what’s wrong are not there. It’s like wanting to draw a picture but not having a pencil or paper.

The law says everyone should get medical help when needed, but this is not happening. Our leaders who make sure we have a good health system are not doing their job. They use hospitals in other countries when they get sick instead of fixing our own. This is like a chef who doesn’t eat his own cooking but goes to other restaurants.

Cancer, a very bad disease, is like a monster in a story, it scares everyone. But now, it’s like the monster has joined the bad guys who are not fixing our health system. They say if young people, who can change the story, don’t vote, the monster will cause more trouble. It’s a scary thought and shows we need to fix our health system soon.

We need to tell this story to everyone so that something is done to help us. If not, our lives will be like a sad story with no happy ending. So, it’s time for us to ask for help and make sure our health system gets better.
