YOUNG PEOPLE NEED JOBS IN ZIMBABWE
In Zimbabwe, many young people don’t have jobs. A group called Zimbabwe National Statistics Agency (ZIMSTAT) says there are at least two million young people without jobs. But some people think this number is not correct. They think there are more young people without jobs.
ZIMSTAT doesn’t say why so many young people don’t have jobs. Many skilled and unskilled workers are leaving Zimbabwe to find better jobs in other countries. These countries have better industries and pay workers more money, especially in health and education sectors. Unlike in Zimbabwe, where workers don’t get paid much and there aren’t many good jobs.
ZIMSTAT suggests that there should be new plans to help young people get jobs. This way, the young people can help the country’s economy. But ZIMSTAT doesn’t say how these new plans will help the economy or how to make them happen.
Some people think ZIMSTAT is not telling the complete truth. They believe the real problem is with the leaders of the country. They think the leaders have failed the country and that’s why there are so many young people without jobs.
In the past, when different leaders were in charge, the economy was better and more people had jobs. Some hope that with better leaders, young people in Zimbabwe can find jobs and help make the country better. They believe that the coming elections could bring change and more jobs for everyone.
Everyone agrees that having so many young people without jobs is a big problem. Better plans and good leaders are needed to help fix this problem. Only then, young people in Zimbabwe will have a chance for a better future with good jobs.
