CCC SAYS FAKE LETTER IS A LIE
The Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) says a letter going around on social media is fake. The letter says CCC has removed its Members of Parliament and councillors, but the party says this is not true. CCC says the letter was written by Songezo Tshabangu, a person who is not part of their party.
CCC says Tshabangu is working with Forever Associates Zimbabwe (FAZ). FAZ is a group that people say has links to the Central Intelligence Organization (CIO). The party says this is a trick to cause confusion and weaken their team.

This problem started after CCC refused to attend President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s speech in parliament. CCC believes the government was angry about this and now wants to create problems for them.
Gift Ostallos Siziba, who speaks for CCC, says people should ignore the fake letter. He says the CCC did not remove anyone from their positions and has no plans to do so. Siziba also says that Tshabangu has never been a CCC member. He used to be in MDC-T and PDP, and he is known for trying to cause trouble in Bulawayo and Matebeleland North by making fake CCC candidates run for office.
Siziba says CCC is taking action against Tshabangu and his group. He believes Zanu PF is behind this plan because they lost the election in 2023. CCC says the government is trying to punish them because they did not attend the opening of parliament on October 3, 2023. He tells all CCC leaders to continue their work and serve the people who elected them.
CCC says it will not allow tricks like this to destroy the party. They support their elected leaders and will fight against any attempts to bring them down. They also tell the people of Zimbabwe to be careful and not believe lies spread on social media. CCC believes this is part of a bigger plan to stop their work and make people doubt them.
Tshabangu has not said anything about these accusations. However, CCC says it will keep working to protect its name and stop false stories from spreading.
CCC tells Zimbabweans to stay alert and question any fake news that tries to cause confusion. The party wants people to know that they are strong and will not let this situation stop them from fighting for a better Zimbabwe.
The political situation in Zimbabwe remains tense. CCC is still the biggest opposition party, and they continue to challenge the ruling party. They say they are fighting for change and will not stop because of false accusations.
The fake letter issue has made CCC even more determined to protect its members. The party says they are ready to stand against any plans to destroy them. As politics in Zimbabwe continue to change, CCC remains firm in its mission to bring new leadership to the country.
