THE UNFAIR RULERS AND THE PEOPLE’S STRUGGLES

Once, in a land, there was a political party named Zanu PF. They were in charge, but they didn’t do good things. A minister from this party said something that showed they didn’t care about the people. They only cared about staying powerful.

This minister was talking to villagers. The villagers didn’t know that they were being treated very badly by Zanu PF. The bad treatment included not having clean water, good healthcare, enough food, and proper schools. But, the villagers cheered for the minister without understanding that they were cheering for the people who were making their lives hard.

The minister’s talk showed a big problem. This problem was that Zanu PF was doing whatever they wanted. They were even using the country’s money for themselves instead of helping the people. There was a time when a lot of money that was supposed to help fight a big sickness went missing. A man named Obadiah Moyo, linked to another man named Scarfmore, took away sixty-five million dollars that were meant to help the people during a health crisis.

The worst part is that Zanu PF had control over the three big parts of the government. These parts are the judiciary, the legislature, and the executive. They made sure that these parts only did what Zanu PF wanted. This wasn’t fair at all because these parts of government should work for the people, not just for one party. Many hoped that power would be shared more, but that hope seemed to be fading away.

Lastly, saying that Zanu PF owned everything except the poor people was a way to make the voters feel bad. They wanted the voters to think that voting against them wouldn’t change anything. This was wrong and mean because the people should have the right to choose who rules them. The rulers should also care about the people, not just about staying in power. This story shows us how important it is for rulers to be fair and for the people to know their rights.
